Riesling is undoubtedly our favorite grape variety. The sharpness and the focused character are what inspires us the most. And what we particularly love about our nearby region is that we harvest a little later due to the cooler climate. As a result, the grapes have enough time to tire and still have a crunchy acidity. The steep slope for this wine grew on a sandy floor. All of these are perfect prerequisites to help shape the Riesling we love. After the reading, the grapes were pressed directly and the juice fermented in large old wooden barrels. The fermentation was (and is still) very slow. The wine takes time and all of this leads to a lively, focused, fruity character. We are in love with this wine.
