Collection: Decideret
Cornelius Simonsen & Jakob Paludan
Denmark is apple country. Blessed with apple varieties that are probably balanced between sharp acid and fruitful sweetness. But about 5 million kilos of apples are left to their fate in private gardens. Predominantly dabbed on the floor. This gave rise to the idea of which one company became. Decideret Cider is a small cider factory in the port of Copenhagen. The two decided to make wild cider from crisp, Danish apples. Uncompromising focus is on manual work and sustainable production.
They have decided to show that cider is as refreshing and casual as beer, complex like a wine, sour and fruity as well as freshly squeezed orange juice.
They crush and press the apples, let the must ferment and pull it to 0.33ml and 0.7l bottles. Only natural game yeasts that are on the apples themselves and in the basement are used. In addition, only Danish apples come to their cider.
Some of her cider are made young and cheeky for direct pleasure, others lie longer on old oak barrels and strive for more.
