Ismael Gozalo

Sympathetic type / likeable wine! Ismael Gozalo is the head behind Microbiowines.He has been experimenting with his wines regardless of the family winery since 1998. His home is located in Nieva, a small community a few kilometers northwest of Segovia in Kastillia & León.With Microbio, he can express himself and the region to the fullest, with naturalness having absolute prio. He works without chemicals, he does not add sulfur, nor filters the wine in the basement of an old monastery from the 11th century. Ismael believes that really great wine is made in the vineyards. Among other things, he can rely on 150 -year -old, root -right vine sticks. All wines are sold under the Vino de España label because it does not want to adhere to the modern and commercial winegrowing techniques of the region.
