The three different grape varieties are harvested and pressed together. Natural maturation on fine yeast for 42 months in oak barrels without covering to give the wine an oxidative character. Wine not filtered or fine. |
taste |
Its subtle and tender bouquet has an air base that is smoothed by flavors of hazelnuts and plants. Reminds aromatic herbs and black tobacco. Light and sweet palate with balanced acid; Both complex and impressive, which makes a dry finish and a persistent aftertaste with a hint of candied fruits, nuts and wood. Slightly sweet, 18 mg / l. The sweetness is not overwhelming. |
The little story |
The vines are planted on the terroir of the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf, which gives the wine the name |
